Sooooooo, we drove thru the night! AND, we made it in one piece! Trey and Emery were more than fabulous travelers....they were perfect. We left Diamondhead, Mississippi at 8:30 p.m. Saturday night, and rolled into Springfield, Illinois at 9 a.m. The drive wasn't too bad, until about 4:30 a.m....it started getting tough. I was begging the sun to hurry up and rise...it would all be okay if the sun would just come up!!! Well, it finally did, and we managed to make it!
I'm pretty sure Trey is going to want us to leave him here....a stocked fishing pond, a tractor, a gator (4-wheeler), lightning bugs....and much, much more. Stay tuned for some more pics...there's lots more on the agenda!
I could wake up to this every morning!
