We have been blowin' and goin' this Spring Break. We headed north to Dallas for 4 days to start it off. We had a great visit with Grandma and Papa and the friends we got to see.
Saturday I had a blast shopping with Grandma and a couple of her friends in downtown McKinney...I got a fabulous window, that I will have to share later.
Here's Billie and me...I brought my new camera to play with, and we found a cool alley!
The next morning we got up and took the kids to fly kites for the first time. Trey loved it.
Emery, not so much...she wanted her kite down!
Tuesday, we got up and headed south to Franklin, Texas to visit cousins. We hung out, fed the cows, rode the Gator, and the adults had a rematch of 42 {dominoes}. Trey even got the you know what scared out of him by what the kids thought was a dead hog. Little did they know, the hog was injured, but STILL alive. One of the kids yelled RUN, so Trey ran about a quarter of a mile back up to the house. When he got there he was white as a ghost, and could hardly tell us what happened. It was all I could do not to hit the floor laughing. He kept saying "I'm not joking! I'm really scared!!"
We had such a great time, and we're already planning our next visit.

Now that we're home, I'm hoping things will start to slow down and we'll get to enjoy this awesome weather and do lots of fun Spring stuff!
